What are Eyelash Extensions?

A technique developed in Korea in the early 2000’s, eyelash extensions is the process of isolating each individual natural eyelash and attaching a false lash with a medical grade adhesive. The false lashes at one point were made of human hair, polyester, synthetic silk and even Siberian mink. Nowadays all eyelash extensions are made of PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate). Polybutylene terephthalate is a synthetic semi-crystalline engineered thermoplastic which helps the eyelashes keep their curl and shape through everyday wear and tear. Eyelash extensions should only and always be applied by a certified eyelash technician.
